Blackstick-Bottom-Special
In offshore fishing, the “bottom-tapping” technique uses the sinker to strike the seabed in search of target fish.
It is widely used in mid-to-deep waters ranging from 30 to 150 meters,
where sensitive tip feedback allows anglers to detect and catch medium to large bottom-dwelling species,
such as rockfish, grouper, red seabream, black skipjack, and golden threadfin bream.
The Blackstick-Bottom-Special comes in two versions:
Model 150 (for 1–1.5 catty sinkers) and Model 180 (for 1.5–2 catty sinkers),
offering optimal performance under different current strengths while maintaining excellent sinker contact sensitivity.
The rod measures 215 cm in total length and features a 1.5-section design for easy storage.
It boasts exceptional maneuverability, ultra-precise signal transmission, and a highly rigid backbone.
Lifting and tapping are sharp and responsive—making it a true all-around bottom-tapping rod for boat fishing.
The Blackstick-Bottom-Special is crafted with premium SB material,
wrapped in a 4-axis carbon fiber armor and reinforced with cross-patterned carbon tape.
It features an ergonomic triangular EVA grip, dual tube connection for stability,
hollow Fuji PLS reel seat, and matte black Fuji LC guides.
The ultra-sensitive tip with high-visibility white paint makes this rod a powerful and precise tool on the open sea.
