ISO fishing rods are designed for rock fishing along rugged coastlines, where long casting distance and high rod stiffness are critical. Each ISO rod in our lineup is constructed with reinforced carbon fiber tube technology to deliver the power, control, and durability required for these demanding environments. The larger the rod number, the stiffer and more powerful the action, though specifications vary by brand and series, as no global standard currently exists.
For beginners, a No. 2–3 ISO fishing rod with a length between 4.5 to 6 meters is typically recommended. For big game rock fishing, our heavy-duty models combine carbon and fiberglass to balance flexibility and strength, featuring larger guides and reinforced joints to handle powerful strikes.
